基地位於台灣新北市三重區，一處約三十六平方公尺的單身公寓。屋主長時間往返各國旅行，日常生活簡潔而規律，偶爾迎來朋友的短暫聚會。空間因此被設定為一個高度可調、可回應不同生活節奏的容器。
Located in Sanchong District, New Taipei City, this 36-square-meter studio apartment is designed for a single resident who travels frequently and occasionally hosts friends. The space is conceived as a flexible container that adapts to changing rhythms of daily life.
設計從「收納即動線」的邏輯出發，自玄關起，串聯客廳、餐廳與寢區，將小尺度居住中不可避免的機能需求轉化為空間秩序的一部分。大量櫃體沿牆展開，形成一條內向而穩定的生活背景，使活動得以在其中自由發生。
The design follows the concept of “storage as circulation,” with built-in cabinetry extending from the entrance to connect the living, dining, and sleeping areas. Functional requirements are absorbed into a continuous spatial order, forming a calm backdrop that allows everyday activities to unfold freely.
屋主偏好粗曠而節制的材質語彙，主要櫃體以黑鐵板構成，保留金屬的重量感與表面深度。鐵板同時成為一面可被持續書寫的牆，來自不同城市的明信片與海報以磁吸方式附著其上，讓旅行的痕跡不被收藏，而是長期滲入日常。
Black steel cabinetry defines the material language, emphasizing weight and depth. Its magnetic surface displays postcards and posters collected from travels, allowing personal memories to remain present in daily life.
櫃體中嵌入一支橘紅色漸層燈體，在夜間作為柔和的定位光，也成為深色量體中唯一的色彩節點，使理性的結構浮現情緒溫度。
An amber-to-red gradient light embedded within the cabinetry serves as both night lighting and the sole chromatic accent, softening the dark volume.
餐桌被視為空間的核心構件。水泥質感的主桌固定於空間中央，成為動線的錨點，使行走自然環繞其周圍展開。搭配一張可移動的金屬副桌，回應獨處與聚會時對高度與尺度的不同需求。兩者之間不形成主從，而是一組可被重新配置的日常組合，讓空間在穩定中保留彈性。
At the center, a fixed concrete table anchors circulation, paired with a movable metal table that adjusts to different uses, from solitary moments to social gatherings.
整體設計並非追求視覺上的完整，而是在有限尺度內，透過材料、重量與位置的精確安排，使生活的各種狀態得以被容納、被轉換，也被尊重。這是一個為移動而生，卻始終保留歸屬感的居所。
Together, they create a stable yet adaptable living environment—one shaped by movement, while maintaining a clear sense of belonging.
